I have been a bit of an introvert the last little while. I have been overly stressed, my jobs have been emotionally, mentally, and physically demanding, and I have been sick too. So what this means, is I have had a lot of time to reflect.
A tid-bit of what I learned over the past little while came to me today, like a light bulb over my head, after reading an e-mail this morning.
What I learned: If you are going to say something out loud, to other people, make sure it's not only the truth, but something you are willing to stand behind. Others (at least me) believe what you say, and will hold you to what you say.
I couldn't help but feel lied to and deceived. It's as if certain people act and react to their momentary feelings and whims and don't feel they should be held accountable if they change their point of view 5 minutes later. Even if it hurts someone in the process.
I am not saying that people shouldn't or don't have the ability to change; to change their behavior, to change their point of view, to change their minds. But when you say something passionatly and then go back on that, people are going to start doubting that what you say is actual truth.
That is it for today...TTFN
